Reach the Saudi population of London, England for Christ.  Saudis are some of the most unreached peoples. There are few known believers. They have no church among them. London area Saudi Outreach has two objectives: (1)Do seed sowing Muslim Evangelism with the many vacationing Saudis and other Arabs in London; (2)Train and recruit college students for future ministry among the Saudis. While the location is London, England, the focus is taking the Gospel to the Saudis and other Arabs from the Arabian Gulf. The project is a cooperative project with Operation Mobilization’s Turning Point Ministry in London. The 6 week experience will have one week of intensive training. Training after this will take place in a team setting. Evangelism will be centered on literature distribution and face-to-face conversation. After the first 2-3 weeks it is possible that students will be requested to fill some leadership role on their team. D6) A+ Children
Students will plan and teach the Bible stories, crafts, and activities for the children that come to Tahoe Resort Ministries.  TAHOE RESORT MINISTRIES SUMMER MISSIONARY JOB DESCRIPTION Students must be able to work as a team and must love to work with children. This is a children’s ministry position. Students will serve on a team of twelve female students. Students should exhibit leadership qualities and be outgoing, self-motivated, dependable, and organized. This position is very people intensive and the student should have good relational skills. Students will be given daily supervision in a well-organized program. We average 100 children per day in our summer ministries. We are more interested in depth of character and teachable students than we are in superstars. Students will be in the same place all summer and will have the opportunity to develop relationships with children, youth, and adults. We have high standards here. We believe that God deserves our very best. We are not interested in lazy or passionless students. You must not be afraid of hard work and long hours. We average about 50 hours of work per week. There are no janitors here so what we mess up, we clean up. The students assigned to the Tahoe City project will do Big A Clubs, Parents’ Night Out and A+ Before and After Ministry. In the Big A Club and A+ ministries they will work with children ages 3-12 years old. All but two missionaries will be assigned to individual age groups as the teacher of that class. They, in addition, one missionary will serve as the recreation person and one person will serve as the music person and the classes will rotate to them. These assignments will be made after the students arrive and will be based on their preferences and skills. At Parents’ Night Out the missionaries will work with children ages birth-12 year olds. In addition, each student will have the opportunity to participate in one or two of the following electives: youth, music, puppets, beach ministry, hospital visitation, tutoring, literacy, hospitality, church recreation, clowning, etc. These activities are not required. If the student exhibits interest in or has abilities in these areas, they are welcome to participate in these ministries. Our goal is to encourage students to develop spiritually and emotionally. We believe that even the best of students can grow and become more confident. For about 95% of all students who serve here this is a life changing experience. We strive to the students that you send us about God, relationships with others, ministry skills, and develop them as leaders. We can’t promise miracles, but if you send us a student who has a teachable heart and a willing spirit, the changes in your student can be dramatic. Please send us students that you would be thrilled to supervise and we promise that we will give 100% to these students. Students should exhibit leadership qualities and be outgoing, self-motivated, dependable, and organized. This position is very people intensive and the student should have good relational skills. We are more interested in depth of character and teachable students than we are in superstars. Students will be in the same place all summer and will have the opportunity to develop relationships with children, youth, and adults. We have high standards here. Your local supervisor makes that connection for you.
